A heavy bloomer with aromatic, feathery foliage. The sunny yellow daisy-like flowers begin in early summer and, if deadheaded, will bloom all summer. The finely cut, feathery foliage forms a tight, symmetrical mound that is attractive even when the plant is not in bloom. Use it for mass planting or in containers.

Marguerites prefer ordinary to poor, well-drained soil in full sun. Rich soil or shade equals floppy plants. Cut plants back by at least half as the flowers begin to fade to encourage new foliage and a second burst of blooms. Divide every 2 years in the spring. In the right conditions Anthemis tends to re-seed and can spread quickly.
