Under 12 in. Shade Spring Blue 3 - 8

Heart-shaped fuzzy leaves are silver with green veining and edges or maybe green leaves with silver marbling between the veins. Mounds nicely with panicles of forget-me-not baby blue flowers that do well as a cut flower for spring bouquets. 'Jack Frost' tolerates heat better than the older brunnera cultivars.

Moisture loving, woodland plant that works well as a ground cover. Moist humus-rich soil and shade are preferred. In the north, morning sun is acceptable as long as the soil remains moist. Let the old leaves in place through the winter to help protect the crown.
