The newest addition to the popular MONARCH® Butterfly Bush collection! ‘Glass Slipper’ forms a dense clump of silvery green leaves. Incredibly long, 10-12”, outward-facing flower panicles. Forms a relatively low, wide spreading, tightly knit cushion topped with pale periwinkle blue blossoms held on silvery, branched stems from late summer into early fall. Secondary flowers extend the show further into fall. Truest blue for a butterfly bush.

Ordinary garden soil will do nicely. Fairly drought tolerant. Increasing the alkalinity of the soil may improve both growth and floral quality. In the north, this shrub-like perennial is best cut back to about 9 inches in the early spring. They will quickly reach their mature height. Buddleias tend to break dormancy late in the spring, so don't worry if you don't see anything happening with them when your other shrubs start to leaf-out. These are very durable and reliable plants.
