This new Campanula boasts a compact habit and beautiful, violet blue flowers. The size of the plant makes it perfect for containers or the front of the border. The clustered, bell-shaped flowers bloom profusely atop the dark green foliage for a long period of time, beginning in late spring. Clustered Bellflower has been a longtime favorite of cottage gardens, attracting butterflies and resisting deer.

This type of Campanula is best grown in fertile, moist soil that is slightly alkaline. In most cases the addition of lime will be beneficial. Although it can grow in full sun, some shade is best both for the plant and the flower color. Deadheading after flowering will prevent self-seeding (can be quite prolific) and extend the flower period. Thin seedlings to maintain strong plants.
