Common name is tri lobed hepatica, it is one of the earliest spring wildflowers, the flowers appearing before the leaves. The leaves are evergreen remaining nice and green all year until replaced by the new leaves in spring.This is a low growing plant that will self sow itself in time, needs shade but is tolerant of moisture conditions.

Care:

Easily grown in humus rich, medium moisture, well-drained soil in part shade to full shade. Nursery grown not collected from the wild.
