Native to much of North America east of the Rocky Mountains. Fire red flower spikes with green lance-like leaves. Has a distinctly upright habit and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Excellent plant for moist locations with partial shade. Attracts songbirds.

Care:

Lobelia grow wild in bogs and along creeks so make sure they have adequate moisture. Given that they can do well in full sun but prefer some shade. Deadheading spent blooms will improve the overall appearance of the plant and may promote reblooming.
