Early spring, bell-shaped flowers. Classic woodland flower that will appreciate that type of humus-rich, moist soil in deciduous shade and they will seed and spread to form a charming colony. Since they go dormant in the summer they are best interspersed with hostas or ferns.

Care:

As I said - woodland soil and avoid south facing slopes. They will also do well in a open garden if they get adequate shade from shrubs or structures.
