This coneflower is very unique in that it has very large oval, gray-green basal foliage with very tall stems of golden-yellow, drooping flowers with an upright center cone. Goes well with ornamental grasses.

Care:

Does not like overly rich soil but, yes, well-drained. Given its large leaf surface, a little extra moisture is good. Full sun is best. Deadhead to encourage blooms and prevent self-seeding. Easily divided in spring.
